Content Breaking

Convert content to lookalike Unicode characters to avoid tripping ad-platform content policies.

Input

Result

Content Breaking replaces each letter in the text you paste with a different Unicode character that looks almost identical - a Latin letter swapped for a Cyrillic or mathematical character of the same shape, for instance. To a human reader the text looks nearly unchanged; to a machine it is a completely different character sequence.

The common use is styling captions, headings or profile bios on platforms that give you no font control. Because the output is real Unicode text rather than an image, you can paste it into any input field - Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Zalo, a display name or a document title.

Substitutes are picked for visual similarity, so the sentence still reads normally. Read it back once after pasting, though: every font draws these characters slightly differently, and some platforms normalise Unicode on save, which turns the text back to how it started.

One tip while using it: keep ordinary letters for anything that needs to be searchable or read correctly by a screen reader, and convert only the decorative text. Search matches on character codes, not on shapes, so converted text will not match what people type.

Features

  • Converts as you type

The output updates character by character, with no process button to press.

  • Real Unicode characters

The result is text, not an image, so it pastes into any input field.

  • Keeps the letter shapes

Substitutes are chosen for visual similarity, so the sentence still reads.

  • One-click copy

A single button puts the whole result on the clipboard.

  • Never leaves the browser

The substitution runs entirely on your machine; the text you paste is not sent anywhere.

How to use it

  1. Paste your text

Type or paste the original text into the input field at the top.

  2. Read the output

The field below updates instantly as you type.

  3. Copy it

Press the copy button to put the whole result on the clipboard.

  4. Paste and check

Paste it where you need it and read it back - some fonts render the substituted characters differently from how they look here.

Frequently asked questions

What does this tool actually do?

It replaces each letter with a different Unicode character of a similar shape, for example a Latin letter with its Cyrillic or mathematical lookalike. The text looks nearly the same while the underlying character codes are entirely different.

Can I paste the result into Facebook, Instagram or TikTok?

Yes, because the output is real Unicode text rather than an image. Some platforms normalise Unicode when they save, though, so the text may revert on its own.

Why does the text sometimes revert after I post it?

That platform normalises Unicode on save, folding lookalike characters back to a canonical form. Nothing can be changed from the tool side; try a different substitution or convert only part of the text.

Is converted text still searchable?

No. Search engines and in-app search match on character codes rather than on shapes, so converted text will not match the keywords people type. Keep ordinary letters for anything you want found.

Can screen reader users read it?

Mostly not - screen readers mispronounce or skip the substituted characters. That is the reason to use this for decorative text and leave the main content in ordinary letters.

Is the text I paste stored anywhere?

No. The conversion runs entirely in the browser, no network request is made, and nothing is retained.
